TPM song lyrics — in the original script, in Latin letters, and with the meaning
Verse of the day Psalm 96 : 1
Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth.
Song of the day
ज्योति के राजा अपनी ज्योति में आ तूJyoti ke raja apni jyoti mein aa tu
अपनी शक्ति द्वारा, आज हमको नयी आशीष दो।
Apni shakti dvara, aj hamko nayi ashish do.
By your power, give us a new blessing today.
तेरी इच्छा पूरी तरह करने को हम चाहते हैं।
Teri ichchha puri tarah karne ko ham chahte hain.
We want to do your will completely.
About us
About geetkiseva
geetkiseva is an archive of the hymns and songs sung in The Pentecostal Mission (TPM). We bring them out of the printed hymnals, one page at a time, and put them where anyone can find them.
What we are doing
We type out each hymn line by line. Then we write the same line again in Latin letters, and explain it in plain English. Where there is a recording, it sits beside the words.
Why we are doing it
These songs have lived only in paper books, in several languages. Many singers speak their language but cannot read its script, and the recordings were loose files nobody could find.
The search
Find a song from any line you remember
One search looks in the original script, in Latin letters and in the English meaning, all at once.
The problem we solve
- A paper book can’t be searchedFind a song from any line you remember, or its number.
- The script locks some people outEvery song can also be read in plain Latin letters.
- Old words are hard to followThe meaning is there in plain English, line by line.
- Recordings are loose filesEach recording plays with the words; jump to any verse.
Browse by language
Songs in Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and English, each in its own script. Pick a language to see its songs in printed number order, the way they are called out in church. A language we are still working on says so.
Browse by category and playlist
Categories group songs by theme. Playlists group them by use, and one song can be on many playlists.
Listen, and read it your way
Every song can be read in its own script, in Latin letters, or as the meaning in English. Switch with one tap and the words change in place. Where there is a recording, you can hear it while you read.
- Open any song. Find it by language, by playlist, or with the search.
- Choose how to read it. Own script, Latin letters, or the meaning. One at a time, so the page never gets crowded.
- Press play. Keep browsing while it plays; the music does not stop when you open another page.
