कलवरी पहाड़ पर आसमान के राजा ने कितना दुःख सहा,

Kalvari pahad par asman ke raja ne kitna dukh saha,

On the Kalvari mountain, the king of the heavens endured great sorrow.

खुदा के बेटे तू ने फरोतनी से जान देने तक दुःख सहा।

Khuda ke bete tu ne farotani se jan dene tak dukh saha.

You, the Son of God, suffered from afar until you gave life.

बाप की मर्जी पूरी करने को आसमानी जलाल छोड़ा

Bap ki marzi puri karne ko asmani jalal chhod

To fulfill the Father's will, the heavenly glory was set aside.

खून बहाया प्राण है दिया पापों से मुक्ति देने को।

Khun bahaya pran hai diya papon se mukti dene ko.

Blood was shed, life was given to grant liberation from sins.

क्रूस पास आकर मैंने इस बड़ी कुर्बानी पर निगाह की,

Krus pas akar maine is badi kurbani par nigah ki,

When I came to the cross I gazed upon this great sacrifice.

इसलिये उठा अपनी सलीब को करता तेरी पैरवी।

Isliye utha apni salib ko karta teri pairvi.

Therefore I lift my own cross, acting as your advocate.

लोमड़ियों के भट, परिन्दों के भी घोंसले है इस जगत में,

Lomadiyon ke bhat, parindon ke bhi ghosle hai is jagat mein,

There are fox dens and bird nests in this world.

लेकिन इस जगत के खालिक को इस जहान में जगह न थी।

Lekin is jagat ke khalik ko is jahan mein jagah n thi.

But the Creator of this world had no place in this world.

ऐ मौत तेरी फतह कहां है जीत गया मेरा मसीह,

Ai maut teri fatah kahan hai jit gaya mera Masih,

O death, where is your victory? My Messiah has won.

कबर का पत्थर हट दिया और बाहर आया मेरा मुंजी।

Kabar ka patthar hat diya aur bahar aya mera munji.

The tomb's stone was removed and my ___ emerged.
