मसीह के लिये हम काम करेंगे

जलाली उम्मीद जो उसके साम्हने थी

Jalali ummid jo uske samhne thi

The glorious hope that was set before him –

थक न गया बल्कि दुःख भी सहा

Thak na gaya balki dukh bhi saha

he did not grow weary, but even endured suffering;

उसको देखकर दौड़ेंगे हम

Usko dekhkar daudenge hum

looking to him, we will run;

हमको वह आखिर तक सम्भालेगा।

Hamko vah akhir tak sambhalega.

he will hold us up to the very end.

लाखों लोग गुनाह से बरबाद होते

Lakhon log gunah se barbad hote

Millions of people are being ruined by sin;

रात और दिन दुआ करेंगे हम

Rat aur din dua karenge hum

night and day we will pray;

इस जगत को बचाने को

Is jagat ko bachane ko

to save this world,

दिल तोड़के अब मेहनत करेंगे हम।

Dil todke ab mehnat karenge hum.

we will now labor with all our hearts.

जैसे पतरस, पौलुस और स्तिफनुस

Jaise Patras, Paulus aur Stifanus

Like Peter, Paul and Stephen,

जान अपनी देके शहीद हो गये

Jan apni deke shahid ho gaye

who gave their lives and became martyrs,

चलेंगे हम भी मसीह के लिये

Chalenge hum bhi Masih ke liye

we too will go for Christ,

जंग में जान देने को उसके लिये।

Jang mein jan dene ko uske liye.

to give our lives in battle for him.

काम उस वक्त न कोई कर सकेगा

Kam us vakt na koi kar sakega

At that time no one will be able to work;

रात आती है उसके आने से पहिले

Rat ati hai uske ane se pahle

night comes before his coming;

एक मन होके उठेंगे हम

Ek man hoke uthenge hum

we will rise up as one in mind;

खुशखबरी भी फैलायेंगे हम।

Khushkhabri bhi phailayenge hum.

we will spread the good news as well.

The time of Jesus' coming on the clouds

वह वक्त बिल्कुल नज़दीक आ गया है

Vah vakt bilkul nazdik a gaya hai

has come very near;

पाकीज़गी में आगे बढ़ के

Pakizagi mein age badh ke

advancing in holiness,

मिलकर हम काम करेंगे तेजी से।

Milkar hum kam karenge teji se.

together we will work quickly.
