Swarg ke Pita teri kamil marzi

Father in heaven, your perfect will

स्वर्ग में जैसे पृथ्वी पर भी होवे

Swarg mein jaise prithvi par bhi hove

may it be done on earth as it is in heaven;

तेरी मर्जी पूरी की जैसे बेटे ने

Teri marzi puri ki jaise bete ne

as the Son fulfilled your will,

मैं भी आता तेरी इच्छा करने को।

Main bhi ata teri ichha karne ko.

I too come to do your will.

पवित्र और मन भावती तेरी ही इच्छा

Pavitr aur man bhavti teri hi ichha

Your will alone is holy and pleasing;

मालूम करके मुझे हमेशा चलने को

Malum karke mujhe hamesha chalne ko

having learned it, so that I may always walk in it;

मेरा मन इसलिये नया होता जाता

Mera man isliye naya hota jata

for this reason my mind keeps being made new;

तुच्छ जानता हूं इस जग की खुशी को।

Tuchch janta hun is jag ki khushi ko.

I count the joys of this world as worthless.

यदि मैं उसकी हथेली में रहूं

Yadi main uski hatheli mein rahun

If I stay in the palm of his hand,

कोई उसके हाथ से निकाल न सकता

Koi uske hath se nikal na sakta

no one can take me out of his hand;

आज मुझ पर आती मुसीबत हर तरह

Aj mujh par ati musibat har tarah

any kind of trouble that comes upon me today,

उसकी मर्जी है यह मैं समझता हूं।

Uski marzi hai yeh main samjhta hun.

I understand that it is his will.

मेरे सिर के एक-एक बाल पूरे प्रभु

Mere sir ke ek-ek bal pure Prabhu

Every single hair of my head, Lord, completely

गौर से गिनती करता है तू हमेशा

Gaur se ginti karta hai tu hamesha

you always count with care;

उसमें से एक बाल भी नीचे गिरना है तो

Usmein se ek bal bhi niche girna hai to

if even one of them is to fall to the ground,

बिना तुझे मालूम नहीं गिरता है।

Bina tujhe malum nahin girta hai.

it does not fall without your knowing.

यीशु के शरीर के बलिदान द्वारा

Yeshu ke sharir ke balidan dvara

Through the sacrifice of Jesus' body

और उसकी इच्छा से मैं शुद्ध हो गया

Aur uski ichha se main shuddh ho gaya

and by his will I have been made pure;

तेरी इच्छा करके प्रतिज्ञा पाने को

Teri ichha karke pratigya pane ko

to do your will and receive the promise,

अपनी शक्ति मुझे दे दो प्रभु जी।

Apni shakti mujhe de do Prabhu ji.

give me your strength, Lord.

किसी को नहीं मालूम होता भोजन

Kisi ko nahin malum hota bhojan

No one knows the food

पर मैं भोजन करके जीता रहता हूं

Par main bhojan karke jita rahta hun

but I go on living by eating it;

अपने रखवाले की मर्जी पूरी करके

Apne rakhvale ki marzi puri karke

by fulfilling the will of my keeper,

सेवा पूरी करना मेरा भोजन है।

Seva puri karna mera bhojan hai.

completing the service is my food.

यदि उसकी मर्जी है मैं दुःख सहूं,

Yadi uski marzi hai main dukh sahun,

If it is his will that I suffer,

मैं अपना प्राण उसको अर्पण करता हूं

Main apna pran usko arpan karta hun

I offer my life to him;

मुझे छांटने की इच्छा यदि है तो

Mujhe chhantne ki ichha yadi hai to

if it is his wish to prune me,

अपनी मर्जी पूरी मुझ पर होने दे।

Apni marzi puri mujh par hone de.

let your own will be fully done in me.
