In that book of the Lamb's life

मेरा नाम लिखा है हल्लिलूय्याह

Mera nam likha hai halliluyyah

my name is written, Hallelujah;

मेरे पापों का भार सब हट गया

Mere papon ka bhar sab hat gaya

the whole burden of my sins has lifted;

हल्लिलूय्याह गाऊंगा मैं

Halliluyyah gaunga main

I will sing Hallelujah.

स्वर्ग सिंहासन से बहती हुई

Swarg sinhasan se bahti hui

Flowing from the throne of heaven,

आत्म नदी मेरे अंदर आई

Atm nadi mere andar ai

a river of the Spirit came within me;

उस आनन्द की अधिकता का

Us anand ki adhikta ka

the abundance of that joy

वर्णन करना कठिन ही है।

Varnan karna kathin hi hai.

is hard to describe.

प्रभु के सामने मेरा चालचलन

Prabhu ke samne mera chalchalan

My conduct before the Lord

बिल्कुल पवित्र है इस कारण से

Bilkul pavitr hai is karan se

is completely holy, and for this reason

मेरे सारे शत्रु मित्र होकर

Mere sare shatru mitr hokar

all my enemies have become friends

बदल गये हल्लिलूय्याह।

Badal gaye halliluyyah.

and changed, Hallelujah.

मेम्ने की शादी का दिन आता है

Memne ki shadi ka din ata hai

The day of the Lamb's wedding is coming;

आनन्द की आवाज सुनाई देती है

Anand ki avaz sunai deti hai

the sound of joy is heard;

उस धन्य देश में जाके उस दिन

Us dhanya desh mein jake us din

on that day, going to that blessed land,

दुल्हिन बनके खुश होऊंगा।

Dulhin banke khush hounga.

I will rejoice as a bride.
