मैंने ऊंची बुलाहट से अलग किया है

Maine unchi bulahat se alag kiya hai

I have set you apart with a high calling;

तुम्हें – अपने लिये ही चुना

Tumhen – apne liye hi chuna

you – I chose for myself alone;

पवित्र बन जाने से और मानने से आज्ञा

Pavitr ban jane se aur manne se agya

to become holy and to obey the command;

चुने हुए हो तुम जगत में।

Chune hue ho tum jagat mein.

you are the chosen ones in the world.

अनादि उद्देश्य पूरे करने के लिये

Anadi uddeshya pure karne ke liye

To fulfil my eternal purposes,

धोया लहू से तुमको मैंने

Dhoya lahu se tumko maine

I washed you with blood;

सनातन आत्मा से अभिषेक भी किया

Sanatan Atma se abhishek bhi kiya

I also anointed you with the eternal Spirit;

सच्चा सुसमाचार भी दिया।

Sachcha susamachar bhi diya.

I also gave you the true gospel.

जैसे सोना ताया जाता आग में वैसे

Jaise sona taya jata ag mein vaise

As gold is refined in fire, so

तुम्हारे विश्वास को परखा

Tumhare vishwas ko parkha

I have tested your faith;

तुम्हारा मन न हो व्याकुल और बेदिलेर

Tumhara man na ho vyakul aur bediler

do not let your heart be troubled and discouraged;

उण्डेलूंगा मैं अनुग्रह तुम पर।

Undelunga main anugrah tum par.

I will pour out grace upon you.

अति पवित्र याजकों इस संसार में

Ati pavitr yajkon is sansar mein

O most holy priests in this world,

लोग इन्कार करते हैं तुम्हें

Log inkar karte hain tumhen

people reject you;

अनादि मनसा से मैंने है चुन लिया

Anadi mansa se maine hai chun liya

I have chosen you with an eternal purpose;

जीवन बिताने को कृपा दी।

Jivan bitane ko kripa di.

I gave grace to live your life.

मुसीबत वह दस दिन की होगी न बड़ी

Musibat vah das din ki hogi na badi

That trouble will last ten days and will not be great;

मेरा – चेहरा तुम देखते रहो

Mera – chehra tum dekhte raho

keep looking at my face;

विश्वासी रहो तुम जीवन भी देने तक

Vishwasi raho tum jivan bhi dene tak

remain faithful even to the point of giving your life;

जीवन का मुकुट दूंगा तुम्हें।

Jivan ka mukut dunga tumhen.

I will give you the crown of life.
