यीशु मजबूत पनाह है

Yeshu majbut panah hai

Jesus is a strong refuge;

बिना शक के तू अभी आजा

Bina shak ke tu abhi aja

without any doubt, come now;

फिकर के लिये होगी न वजह

Fikar ke liye hogi na vajah

there will be no reason for worry;

हमेशा वह हिफाजत से रखेगा।

Hamesha vah hifazat se rakhega.

he will keep you safe always.

इस जग की फानी लहरों में

Is jag ki fani lahron mein

In the fleeting waves of this world,

कोई फायदा नहीं उछलने बहने में

Koi fayda nahin uchhalne bahne mein

there is no benefit in leaping and drifting;

ईमान के जहाज की हिफाजत करने को

Iman ke jahaz ki hifazat karne ko

to protect the ship of faith,

दुनिया को तरक करना जरूरी है।

Duniya ko tark karna zaruri hai.

it is necessary to give up the world.

उकाब की मानिन्द ऊंचे उड़ो

Ukab ki manind unche udo

Soar high like an eagle;

स्वर्ग जाने को दुनियादारी छोड़ो

Swarg jane ko duniyadari chhodo

to go to heaven, leave worldliness;

उसके इन्तजार में पाओगे जोर

Uske intazar mein paoge zor

in waiting for him you will find strength;

ठोकर से बचने को ताकत होगी।

Thokar se bachne ko takat hogi.

there will be strength to keep from stumbling.

मौत आने से भी तुम न डरो

Maut ane se bhi tum na daro

Do not fear even when death comes;

प्रभु साथ है तुम खुशी से रहो

Prabhu sath hai tum khushi se raho

the Lord is with you, live joyfully;

डरानेवाली कोई ताकत नहीं

Daranevali koi takat nahin

there is no power that can frighten;

कहीं भी नहीं है, ईमान रखो।

Kahin bhi nahin hai, iman rakho.

there is none anywhere; have faith.

आराम के देश में हम जायेंगे

Aram ke desh mein hum jayenge

We will go to the land of rest;

यीशु की गोद में आराम पायेंगे

Yeshu ki god mein aram payenge

we will find rest in Jesus' lap;

आसमानी खुशी के चश्मों से

Asmani khushi ke chashmon se

from the springs of heavenly joy

हमेशा के लिये पीते रहेंगे।

Hamesha ke liye pite rahenge.

we will go on drinking forever.
