दौड़ता हूं मैं दौड़ता हूं मैं

यीशु चढ़ गया कलवरी पर हाथ पाँव उसके सलीब पर ठुके

Yeshu chadh gaya Kalvari par hath panv uske salib par thuke

Jesus went up to Calvary, his hands and feet nailed to the cross;

पर्दा जो उसका जिस्म फटने से नई जिन्दा राह खुली मेरे लिये।

Parda jo uska jism phatne se nai zinda rah khuli mere liye.

by the tearing of his body, which was the veil, a new and living way was opened for me.

पाक रूह से किया मसा है मुझे सन्तों की संगति भी दे दी उसने

Pak ruh se kiya masa hai mujhe santon ki sangati bhi de di usne

He has anointed me with the Holy Spirit and given me the fellowship of the saints as well;

बराबर उसके कद के बढ़ने हर रोज अच्छा वचन देता मुझे।

Barabar uske kad ke badhne har roz achchha vachan deta mujhe.

to grow to his full stature, every day he gives me a good word.

दूल्हे साथ रहूं जब सोचता हूं यह दुनियावी जिन्दगी लगती है नीचे

Dulhe sath rahun jab sochta hun yah duniyavi zindagi lagti hai niche

When I think of living with the Bridegroom, this worldly life seems low;

कर रहा मेरे लिये तैयार लाजवाब और बेदाग मीरास।

Kar raha mere liye taiyar lajavab aur bedag miras.

he is preparing for me a matchless and spotless inheritance.

क्या देर और भी है तेरे आने में महबूब तरसती हैं मेरी आंखें,

Kya der aur bhi hai tere ane mein mahbub tarasti hain meri ankhen,

Is there still more delay in your coming, Beloved? My eyes are longing;

क्या खतम दुल्हिन की तैयारी महबूब तेरे साथ रहने को।

Kya khatam dulhin ki taiyari mahbub tere sath rahne ko.

is the bride's preparation complete, Beloved, to be with you?

जब करूं याद मैं इस सौभाग्य को, रोजाना सारे बोझ हट जाते हैं

Jab karun yad main is saubhagya ko, rozana sare bojh hat jate hain

When I remember this blessing, all my burdens lift every day;

महबूब के जलाल में जाहिर होने का वक्त है जल्दी नजदीक आ रहा।

Mahbub ke jalal mein zahir hone ka vakt hai jaldi nazdik a raha.

the time for the Beloved to be revealed in glory is drawing quickly near.
