Duniya ki padvi main chahta nahi

I do not desire worldly honor.

और दुनिया के धन पर आशा नहीं

Aur duniya ke dhan par asha nahi

I have no hope in the world's riches.

जब स्वर्गीय महिमा की याद मैं करता

Jab swargiya mahima ki yad main karta

When I recall the heavenly glory,

आनन्द से मेरा दिल भर जाता है।

Anand se mera dil bhar jata hai.

my heart is filled with joy.

पापों के लिये मैं मर गया हूं

Papon ke liye main mar gaya hun

I have died for the sins.

और धार्मिकता के लिये जीता हूं।

Aur dharmikta ke liye jita hun.

And I live for righteousness.

आनन्द तेल से मसा करता है वह

Anand tel se masa karta hai vah

Mere hriday mein pyar bhi undel diya

He poured love into my heart.

जिसे दुनिया कभी छीन न सकी।
